Internship Project Managers - Youths

Project Management is one of the most sought after professional skills there is. Having these skills opens up a path to a wide number of career options. We want to equip Somali youths in Milton Keynes with Project Management skills that lead them to start a business or a charity.

Who is this program for?

This program is for youths, mainly of Somali background, from Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas.

The importance of this project

The project aims to tap into the potential Somali youths have to be creative and innovative and to teach them valuable skills that will help to transform their lives for the better.

Aims and Objectives

The aim is to instil new skills in project management into Somali youths and guide them to manage enterprises or organisations.

Internship

Participants will undergo a training session in Project Management. After completion of the session, we will teach them how to write a business plan or project proposal and fundraising skills.

They will learn digital marketing which they will use to raise money for a project they will work on during their internship.

After their internship, the skills they have gained will give them the experience to startup a business or an organisation. We will work with them to help them launch their own enterprise or a charity.
